Booking a Werribee taxi: what to know
The West Gate Bridge dictates everything on a city trip. Between 6:30am and 9am inbound, a 32 km run can take an hour, so if you have a flight or an appointment, add half an hour to whatever the map says. Heading the other way, the same applies from about 3:30pm.
Werribee is one of the few parts of Melbourne where Avalon is a serious alternative to Tullamarine — it's closer and the fare is usually lower. Check which airport your flight departs from before you book; the difference is worth real money.
