Melbourne hospitals and aged care taxi,
booked before the crowd moves.
Medical travel is not a normal taxi trip. Appointments cannot be late, discharges happen at short notice, and many passengers need a driver who will wait and help with the door. We book those trips specifically, and MPTP-subsidised fares are accepted.

Getting a cab at Melbourne hospitals and aged care
The Multi Purpose Taxi Program (MPTP) subsidises 50 per cent of taxi fares for eligible Victorians with a permanent disability, up to the program's per-trip limit. Bring your MPTP card and present it at the start of the trip so the driver can process it correctly โ the subsidy cannot be applied retrospectively.
For appointments, book with the appointment time rather than the pickup time in mind and we will work backwards, adding buffer for traffic. For discharges, call as soon as you have a discharge time; wards frequently run late and we would rather adjust than have you waiting on a kerb.
Wheelchair accessible vehicles are available on request, but please call 0421 807 027 rather than booking online so the correct vehicle is allocated to your trip.
Drivers can assist with bags and walk passengers to a reception desk where needed. If a carer is travelling with you, say so when booking so we allocate the right seating.
Card, EFTPOS, cash, Cabcharge and MPTP-subsidised fares are all accepted, with a receipt on request.
