Booking a Docklands taxi: what to know
Marvel Stadium empties in minutes. The gate you left from matters more than the address — tell dispatch the gate number and the driver waits on the nearest open street rather than in the crowd on Bourke Street.
Docklands offices are numbered along Collins and Bourke, but the building entrances are often set back behind plazas. Give the tower name so the driver can pull into the correct set-down.
Docklands sits right next to Southern Cross Station and the Wurundjeri Way approach to CityLink, so airport runs get moving quickly. Tolls apply on CityLink and are added to the fare.
Weekend NewQuay dining and event nights are the busiest windows. Pre-booking is the difference between a five-minute wait and standing on the promenade.
