What a private transfer includes
A transfer is a pre-booked trip rather than a rank pickup. You give us the address, the flight number and the time; we allocate a car and a driver and hold that slot for you.
Arrivals are flight tracked. If your plane lands 50 minutes late, the pickup time moves with it and you are not charged for the gap. Waiting time is included for 45 minutes after an international landing and 20 minutes after a domestic one, which covers baggage and customs in most cases.
Transfers vs shuttle buses and rideshare
SkyBus and shared shuttles are cheaper per head but run to a timetable, stop repeatedly and finish at a hub rather than your door. For two or more passengers with luggage, a private transfer usually costs about the same door to door and saves 30–45 minutes.
Rideshare pricing moves with demand. A 5am Friday or a wet Sunday evening can multiply the quoted price. Our fixed transfer price is locked in when you book and does not change on the day.
Where we transfer to and from
Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) T1, T2, T3 and T4, plus Avalon Airport near Geelong. Pickups and drop-offs anywhere in Greater Melbourne — CBD, Southbank, Docklands, the bayside and eastern suburbs, the north and the west.
Regional transfers run daily to Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Torquay, the Mornington Peninsula, Pakenham, Warrnambool and the Surf Coast. Long-distance runs are quoted as a fixed price before departure.
Booking a transfer
Book online with the pickup address, destination, date, time and flight number, or call 0421 807 027 and dispatch will take the details. You receive the driver name and vehicle details before pickup.
For groups travelling together we send multiple sedans rather than a larger vehicle. Baby capsules, booster seats and wheelchair accessible vehicles are available on request when noted at booking time.
