Melbourne Airport to Ballarat,
door to door.
A direct taxi from Tullamarine to Ballarat — roughly 105 km up the Western Freeway, usually 80 to 105 minutes. Your driver meets you at the terminal, luggage goes in the boot, and you go straight to your address instead of connecting through Southern Cross. Ask for a fixed price and the amount is agreed before you travel.
No payment now — our dispatcher calls you to confirm. Card, Cabcharge, MPTP and cash all accepted in the cab.
Metered fare with live tariff. Calculated using Victorian CPVV (Day Rate) tariffs plus live route data. Tolls passed through at cost.
Terminal pickups and where we drop off.
We track your flight number so a delay doesn't cost you the booking. Pickup is at the terminal taxi rank or a nominated kerbside point, and drop-off is anywhere in Ballarat and the surrounding towns — home addresses, hotels, the hospital, Federation University or the racecourse.

Airport to Ballarat: what to know
This is a long-distance run, so a fixed price is almost always the better choice. You agree the total before the trip and it doesn't move if the freeway is slow or your flight lands late at night when the higher tariff applies.
Give us your flight number when you book. We watch the arrival time, so a delayed or early landing is handled without you having to re-book from the terminal.
Late arrivals matter here. V/Line coach and train connections to Ballarat thin out after about 9pm, which is exactly when a direct taxi saves you an overnight stay near the airport.
Travelling with luggage, sporting gear or a group? Tell dispatch when you book so the right standard vehicle is allocated with boot space to match.
