Getting a cab at Rod Laver Arena
During the Australian Open, Melbourne Park operates under event traffic management for two weeks straight. Night sessions can finish after midnight, and that is exactly when public transport thins out — a pre-booked cab is the difference between leaving and waiting.
For concerts, the arena empties in about 20 minutes. Booking before the encore rather than after it is the single biggest thing you can do to get home quickly.
