Booking a Craigieburn taxi: what to know
At roughly 18 km, Craigieburn to Tullamarine is one of the cheapest airport taxi trips in Melbourne, and it avoids CityLink entirely. Allow 30 minutes for a weekday morning departure and you'll be early.
The city run is the opposite story: the Hume Freeway into CityLink is heavily congested inbound between 6:30am and 9am, tolls are added to the metered fare, and a 28 km trip can take 50 minutes. Book earlier than you think you need to.
