Melbourne Airport Terminal 4 taxi: what to expect
Terminal 4 is the low-cost terminal used mainly by Jetstar. Early-morning and late-night departures are common here, so pre-booking the night before is worth doing — dispatch runs around the clock.
Metered airport trips are charged on the Victorian government-set tariff plus the airport pickup fee and any tolls on the route. The fare calculator on this page applies the correct day, night or peak rate for your pickup time so there are no surprises at the end.
For long transfers — Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, the Mornington Peninsula — ask for a fixed price when you book. The total is agreed before departure and does not change if the freeway slows.
