Melbourne Airport Terminal 2 taxi: what to expect
Terminal 2 is Melbourne's international terminal, so arrivals come in waves and the rank can be long after a wide-body lands. Customs and baggage typically add 30 to 45 minutes after touchdown — give us the flight number and we allow for that automatically.
Metered airport trips are charged on the Victorian government-set tariff plus the airport pickup fee and any tolls on the route. The fare calculator on this page applies the correct day, night or peak rate for your pickup time so there are no surprises at the end.
For long transfers — Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, the Mornington Peninsula — ask for a fixed price when you book. The total is agreed before departure and does not change if the freeway slows.
