About the service

Regulated, accountable
and priced before you travel.

Booking a car is a trust decision. This page sets out exactly how the service is regulated, who is driving, how the price is worked out and what happens if something goes wrong — so you can judge it rather than take a slogan on faith.

Licensed and regulated in Victoria

Commercial passenger vehicle services in Victoria are regulated by Safe Transport Victoria. Drivers must hold a current Victorian driver licence, pass a driver accreditation check including a national police check, and drive a registered, insured and inspected commercial passenger vehicle.

That framework is the baseline for every trip booked through us. It is also why a complaint has somewhere to go: regulated services are accountable to a public regulator, not only to an app rating.

One price, agreed before you travel

Every quote is generated from the Victorian tariff structure for the date and time you are actually travelling, including the correct day, night or public holiday band. You see a metered estimate and a fixed price side by side and choose.

There is no surge multiplier. A 5am airport run, a wet Friday night and a public holiday are priced from the same published structure as any other trip.

24/7 dispatch with a real phone number

Dispatch answers on 0421 807 027 around the clock. If your plans change, your flight is delayed or you cannot find the car, you can speak to a person instead of filing a form inside an app.

Airport arrivals are flight tracked from the flight number you give at booking, so a late landing moves the pickup automatically rather than costing you a no-show.

What we do and do not offer

We run standard sedans. That covers up to four passengers with luggage; larger groups are handled by sending multiple sedans rather than a van. Wheelchair accessible vehicles, baby capsules and booster seats are available when requested at booking time.

We do not operate a maxi taxi fleet, and we will tell you so rather than accept a booking we cannot fill properly. Being clear about the limits is part of being reliable.

Payments and receipts

Card, EFTPOS, cash, Cabcharge and MPTP are accepted in every vehicle. A tax receipt is issued on request at the end of the trip, which matters for business travel and for MPTP members recording subsidised trips.

Tolls used on your route are shown in the quoted fixed price rather than appearing afterwards.

If something goes wrong

Call 0421 807 027 and describe what happened. Lost property is traced through the booking record and the allocated vehicle, which is far more reliable than a general lost-and-found queue.

Fare disputes are checked against the booking record and the tariff that applied at the time. Where a fixed price was agreed, that price stands.
