1. About us

CabTaxi Melbourne is an independently owned and operated commercial passenger vehicle booking service operating in metropolitan Melbourne, Victoria. All drivers and vehicles in our network are accredited by Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria (CPVV).

2. Bookings

• Bookings can be made by phone, our website form, or in person.
• We will make reasonable efforts to dispatch a vehicle within the requested timeframe but cannot guarantee exact arrival times due to traffic, weather and demand.
• You must provide accurate pickup and destination details. Incorrect details may result in additional charges or cancellation.

3. Fares and payment

• Standard metered fares are set under Victorian Government regulation.
• Fixed airport fares, where advertised, include all standard charges (flagfall, distance, booking fee, tolls and GST).
• We accept cash, eftpos, credit/debit cards, Cabcharge and MPTP (Multi Purpose Taxi Program) vouchers. A card surcharge may apply.
• Tolls, airport access fees and waiting time may apply where relevant.

4. Cancellations and no-shows

You may cancel a booking at any time before the driver arrives at no charge. A cancellation or no-show fee may apply if the driver has arrived at the pickup point and you cannot be located within a reasonable time.

5. Passenger conduct

• Passengers must wear seatbelts at all times.
• Drivers may refuse service to any passenger who is intoxicated, abusive, or who poses a safety risk.
• Any damage caused to the vehicle (including soiling) may be charged to the passenger in line with CPVV cleaning fee guidelines.

6. Lost property

Please contact us as soon as possible on 0421 807 027 if you believe you have left an item in one of our vehicles. We will make reasonable efforts to assist but cannot guarantee recovery.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CabTaxi Melbourne is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from delays, missed connections or service interruptions. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Website use

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
